The Design Your Dream (DYD) initiative expanded further with Batch 3, engaging 160 Class 9 students from Don Bosco School, Bandlaguda Jagir. Conducted across two days and in two venues, the program offered structured, hands-on sessions designed to help students build self-confidence, leadership abilities, and clarity for the future.
Opening Moments: Encouraging Purpose & Direction
The program began with an inaugural message by Fr Maddhichetty Noel, highlighting the importance of goal-setting, discipline, and nurturing a growth-oriented mindset. Students were encouraged to reflect on their aspirations and stay open to the learning process.
Workshops That Inspired Growth & Awareness
1. Orientation Towards a Meaningful Life – Mr. Kandula Anvesh
A thoughtful session on purpose, identity, self-worth, and leading a meaningful life.
2. Discovering One’s Dream – Fr Yeruva Joji
An engaging session encouraging students to explore their personal dreams, strengths, and long-term vision.
3. Designing One’s Dream – Career Counselling – Fr Pale Justin
Students gained an understanding of career options, academic focus areas, and how to make informed choices for the future.
4. Technology for Meaningful Living – Fr Muthyala Sudhakar
A relevant workshop on digital awareness, using technology consciously, and developing healthy online habits.
Day 2: Leadership, Values & Communication Skills
At the BIRDY Hall, the second set of sessions focused on personal development, leadership ethics, and communication.
5. Values-Based Leadership – Fr Sudhakar / Fr Joji
An exploration of empathy, responsibility, teamwork, and ethical decision-making in everyday life.
6. Life Skills & Communication – Mrs. Kiran Jyostna & Team
Highly interactive modules that strengthened communication, collaboration, confidence, and emotional intelligence.
Students participated enthusiastically, engaging in activities that encouraged reflection, teamwork, and practical learning.
Closing Reflections
The program concluded with a summary session highlighting the key takeaways. Students shared their insights and expressed appreciation for the engaging, supportive, and transformative learning environment.
